History - Shri Radha Raman Temple Vrindavan

The appearance of Lord Radha Raman dates back to 1532 when Shri Gopal Bhatt Goswami, one of the foremost disciples of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu ji came to Vrindavan. Upon reaching the holy land, Gopal Bhatt Goswami received Mahaprabhu's blessings in form of Kopin (Mahaprabhu's loin cloth), Dupatta, Patta (Wooden seat). (The wooden seat and Mahaprabhu's Dupatta are well-kept and still in worship at the temple)
